School Highlights
We are excited to announce that Alta was officially renamed to honor and memorialize an important member of the Southington Public Schools who became a champion of our program and mentor within our Alta family. Effective immediately, we will be known as the Karen Smith Academy. Karen volunteered at Alta for 4 years after she retired and touched the lives of students and staff alike. Please celebrate this honor with us as The Karen Smith Academy moves into a new chapter.
